ChouCho

ChouCho was first noticed as a singer after becoming extremely popular on Niconico, with around one million views of her amateur covers. She finally made her major debut singing "Kawaru Mirai," the opening theme song for the TV anime, 'Heaven's Memo Pad'!

Having started playing the electric organ at four, she then learned music theory, and created her first band when she was in her second year of high school.
From around 2007, she began playing in a band that played anime songs, and posted her first video to Niconico in June 2008.
She performed live for Niconico in May 2009, but then took a break from music to study abroad from July to December of 2009.
She restarted her music career immediately after returning to Japan, performing for the first time at the Niconico Daikaigi in February 2010.
ChouCho then performed at multiple Niconico concerts, finally making her major debut in July 2011.

Her first single for "Kawaru Mirai," the 'Heaven's Memo Pad' opening theme song, included the song, "Sleeping Butterfly," where she showed her talent as an artist by penning her own lyrics. We have ever-growing expectations for her future success!
